The Ministry of Defence Building L136 is a remote accumulator tower built in 1879. It is constructed of English bond brick and features a flat concrete roof from the 20th century. The building has a square plan and stands three storeys tall. Each elevation has a blind panel and the remains of two blocked windows. On the southern elevation, there is a stone plaque inscribed with "RGPF VR 1879." The interior has been altered with inserted floors, a staircase, and enlarged windows due to a mid-20th century conversion for office use. Originally, this building served as a remote accumulator for the accumulator in Building L149 and is significant for its role in the expansion of a centralized hydraulic network that provided power to the press and moulding houses in the northern part of the site.
