Description

Burgess Farmhouse dates to 1767. It is a two-storey farmhouse constructed primarily of red brick at ground floor level, with a painted weatherboarded first floor, all set beneath an old tiled roof. The side elevation features a chimney breast with offsets. The first floor has three flush casement windows, also with offsets. The ground floor has a pentice roof over two bay windows. Burgess Farmhouse forms a group with a nearby barn.
