Description
Raveners Farmhouse is dated to the 18th century. The exterior is of red brick with a hipped roof covered in old tiles. The building is two storeys high with attics, and features three gabled dormers with lattice windows. There are two sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals, each with a flat arch above. A bracketed doorhood sits centrally beneath a circular window on the first floor. A gabled wing extends from the rear.
Inside, a late 17th-century open-well staircase has moulded string details, twisted balusters, square newels with moulded caps, and a heavy moulded handrail. The kitchen has a high ceiling with chamfered lateral beams with run-out stops.
