Description

Warlies Park House is an 18th-century and early 19th-century stucco house with two storeys. The entrance front was remodelled in 1879 by S.S. Teulon, and is now constructed of grey brick with sash windows set in reveals, beneath segmental arches of red and black brick. A two-storey stucco bay features a porch. The building has a cornice, a low parapet and a Welsh slated hipped roof. A long north wing was added by Teulon in 1879, mirroring the entrance front but with casement windows. A central steeple rises from this wing, with a gable on the left oversailing the ground floor, supported by four large, black-painted brackets. A roundel in the gable displays a date. The original 18th-century staircase was removed in the 1920s and relocated to Woodredon House. Warlies Park House is part of a group that also includes a temple and an obelisk.
