Description

Shrub End War Memorial is a First World War memorial located next to All Saints Church on Shrub End Road. It features a low cenotaph made of concrete blocks with steel reinforcements and concrete render. The memorial has two flutes, one on either side of the inscription, and a triangular top. On the front face, there is a small raised laurel wreath. Below this wreath is a marble plaque that bears the dedication "TO THE GLORIOUS DEAD, 1914 – 1918 (NAMES)."
