Description
The Church of All Saints is a parish church, primarily rebuilt around 1340. It features a west tower with diagonal buttresses, a nave with north and south aisles, a south porch, and chancel walls constructed of coursed flint and rubble, incorporating earlier red brick in closely spaced bands, along with free stone quoins. The tower was repaired on its west face around 1700 using red brick and was re-topped in gault brick during the 19th century. The tower buttresses also contain considerable red brick. The south porch has a side-purlin and rafter-braced roof dating from around 1500. The roofs are ridged and covered with peg tiles, while the north and south aisles have flat roofs with parapets.
