Description
Nos 9 and 10 on Trinity Street are buildings with origins dating back to the 15th century. They have an L-shaped plan with an addition at the southern end and have undergone considerable restoration. The buildings are two storeys high, with attics and cellars, and are constructed from timber framing and plaster, topped with tiled roofs. There is a significant amount of exposed timber framing, much of which has been renewed, and the upper storey projects at three different levels on the east front. Notably, there is a piece of embattled bressumer. The windows are mainly from the 18th and 19th centuries, along with some modern ones. The east entrance is located at the south end of No 9. At the rear, there is a wing extending west, which features a small projecting wing near the east end with two hipped gables. The interior includes some panelling from around 1700 and there is a cart entrance. Nos 2 to 14 on Trinity Street form a group with these buildings.
