West Lodge is an early 19th century Gothic cottage located on Elmstead Road. The building is octagonal in shape and features a verandah that wraps around it. It is constructed of brick and rendered, standing at one storey with a pointed window on each face. The cottage has a slate roof and Gothic-style chimneys.
