Description

The War Memorial to the Dead of 1914-18 is an early 20th-century tall wooden cross, intricately carved in relief on both faces. It stands upon an octagonal oak shaft, which features capital mouldings and stop-chamfered edges at its base. The memorial is set in a cubical stone block, resting on a chamfered stone step and base. Surrounding the memorial are heavy iron railings.
