Description

This is a house dating to circa 1800, situated on Wivenhoe High Street. It is a two-storey building of three bays, constructed with Flemish-bonded red brick and featuring a ridged, gabled roof covered in slate. The building has red brick chimneys on its sloping returns, and a projecting central bay. The front door consists of a four-panel leaf within a case, topped with a hood. Small-paned sash windows are located on either side of the door. The ground floor has stuccoed segmental arches with keystones, and the first floor has three matching sash windows beneath the eaves.
