Description

The Rose and Crown Hotel is a building that originally dates back to the 15th century, featuring cross wings to the east and west, along with a 17th-century wing that extends to the north. It has undergone extensive restoration and conversion by Grace Faithful Roper, resulting in many features that are not original to the building. The upper storey of the cross wings projects at the front, and all of the timber-framing is exposed.
