Description

Nos 26 to 29 on North Hill are buildings with origins dating back to the late 15th century, although they have been significantly altered over time. They are two storeys high, constructed with timber framing and plaster, with some areas featuring modern timber framing and rough-cast plaster. The roofs are covered with tiles, and there is a gable at the south end of the front of No 27. The first floor has a range of five windows, all of which are leaded lattice casements. The ground floor features modern shop fronts. These buildings, along with Nos 13 to 29, form a cohesive group.
