Description
Headgate Congregational Church is a chapel dating from 1844, designed by W F Poulton. The front of the building is constructed of gault brick and stucco. It features a three-window central section with pilasters and an altered pediment. Two round-arched doorways flank a central window, all highlighted by impost mouldings. The building includes blind side bays. The sides are built of yellow brick with strip pilasters and long, round-arched windows. Two cast iron lamp brackets are attached to the front.
