Description
The Cock Inn is a building originally constructed in the 17th century as a timber-framed and plastered house designed in a half-H plan. It underwent significant alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries when it was refaced in red brick, while the rear is finished in weatherboarding. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring three gables on the front, with the central gable being taller than the outer ones. It has a four-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars, all set beneath stuccoed flat arches. There are two doorways, one of which has a semi-circular stuccoed arch. The roof is tiled.
