Description
Bulimers Farmhouse is a 16th century or earlier farmhouse with an early 19th century extension added to the south side. The original 16th century building is two storeys high and likely consists of two bays with a lobby entrance. It is timber framed on a stone rubble plinth and partly weather-boarded. The exterior has been plastered and refronted in brick on the southwest side. The windows are mostly early 19th century casements with glazing bars, featuring two and three lights. Notably, there is an original first-floor window with three lights, complete with mullions and ovolo mouldings. The entrance has a boarded door topped with a bracketed hood, and the roof is hipped and covered in tiles, with the chimney rebuilt in brick.
The 19th century addition is also two storeys and has a double front with three windows. It features a Welsh slate roof with protruding eaves and is constructed of gault bricks. The recessed sash windows have gauged flat brick arches and glazing bars, and there is a panelled door with a tented canopy leading to the porch.
