Description

A two-story dovecote, likely of 17th-century origin, stands west of Plesheybury House. Originally timber-framed with brick nogging, the exterior is now plastered. It has been used as a granary for a considerable time and now no longer functions as a dovecote. The structure rests on a number of brick piers. The pyramidal roof is tiled, with no central louvre. Birds accessed the dovecote through a small opening in the east wall, while the entrance door is located in the upper story of the building.
