Description
The Bay Horse Public House is a late 17th century building with a south bay added in the 18th century. It is a two-storey structure that features timber framing and plastering, with decorative sham timber applied to the east and south elevations. The building has three bays and a range of three windows on the first floor, which are casements, while the ground floor has four double sash windows. There are two front doors: one is centrally located and the other is at the north end, with the lower three feet of the doors being black weather-boarded. The roof is ridged from north to south, covered in peg tiles, and includes one large gabled dormer on the north side. A long wing extends west from the north end of the building.
