Description
Bellefield is a house built between 1841 and 1842, constructed of gault brick with stone trim. It is two storeys high and features a main front with three bays, along with pedimented projecting gables at both the north and south ends. The central front door is adorned with an entablature supported by two square columns and features a rectangular fanlight above it. The ground floor includes semi-circular bay windows with stone coping and sash windows. On the first floor, there are three tripartite windows set within recessed stone architraves, each with straight heads that are carved with patera. The windows are sash hung pairs of four panes, complete with margin lights and margin sashes. The roof is slated, and the bold pedimented gables are accentuated by paired modillions. Additionally, there are three chimney stacks aligned along the centre of the roof.
