Description

Nos 34 and 34A on Moulsham Street are two-storey houses dating from around 1600. The original timber frame has been rendered. The street-facing side features modern shop windows on the ground floor, while the first floor has a range of three windows, each with pairs of six-paned sash windows. There are two gabled dormers in the roof, which is covered with peg tiles and gabled to the north, returning eastwards at the south end. The chimney stacks are located centrally and to the east of the ridge, with one against the north gable. The building also has a heavy timber eaves cornice.
