Description
The barn and outbuilding located to the northeast of Great Graces is a building from the 17th to 18th century. It features a timber-framed and weatherboarded barn with a gabled entrance wing on the west side, topped with a tiled roof. Adjoining the north end of the barn is a red and blue brick building, which is now used as a dwelling and stands at right angles to the barn. The structure has two storeys and a three-window range on both the north and south fronts. The north front is characterized by brick panels and double-hung sash windows with glazing bars in plain reveals, while the south front features 20th-century casements. The roof is tiled and includes a stopped gable with a moulded brick coping at the west end, and a hipped wing extends from the northeast end. This barn and outbuilding, along with the outbuilding to the southeast of Great Graces and the wall and pavilion to the east of Great Graces, form a group.
