Description

This is a two-storey red brick building, dating from 1825, situated on Patching Hall Lane. It is arranged as a three-window range, originally known as Hollow Lane. The ground floor features sash windows in a good quality Gothic style, with three simple front doors. The layout from the left consists of a single door, two windows, two doors, and one window. The first floor has three pairs of ten-paned sash windows. The eaves are dentilled, and the roof is a gambrel shape, running north to south, with one window in each gable. Two large brick chimney stacks are present – one off-centre at the north end, and the other a central ridge stack. Inside, there are heavy, chamfered binding joists. Modern alterations have been made to the rear of the building.
