Description

Jefferey's House is a late 16th century or early 17th century timber-framed house that features a red brick front added in the 18th century. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars, set in plain reveals. A central doorway is topped with a dentilled pediment. The roof is tiled and has a brick dentil eaves course, along with two dormer windows that have sloping roofs. Inside, there are some exposed timber-framing elements, a panelled room, and two original doors.
