Description

Ramsey Tyrells is a late 18th century or early 19th century building featuring a red brick front that conceals an earlier timber-framed house, likely from the 16th century. It is believed that a house has existed on this site since around 1300. The structure is two storeys high and has a window arrangement of 1:2:1, with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars, set in painted reveals. The roof is tiled and hipped at both the east and west ends, with a slight projection of the wing at the west end. Inside, the house showcases exposed timber-framing, along with ceiling beams and joists.
