Description
Tan House is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is timber-framed and has pebble dash rendering on the south side, with a yellow brick addition in Flemish bond on the north side. The roof is low-pitched, hipped, and covered with slate.
The west front of the south block features a range of three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars and 12 panes, along with a central chimney stack. There is a 20th-century gabled porch with a glazed door. The south front of the south block also has three windows, some of which are horned sashes, and a central door with a hood supported by simple console brackets. The west front of the north block has a range of two windows with flush sashes, plus an additional ground-floor window with four panes, also featuring a horned sash.
