Description

The King William IV Public House in Navestock is a timber-framed building dating to the 19th century. It has a low-pitched slate roof and originally had a three-window facade with sash windows containing glazing bars. An additional sash window was inserted at the location of a former doorway, and remnants of an old hood remain. The building features a dentilled eaves cornice. There is a principal brick stack slightly off-centre and a smaller stack at the east end. Later 20th-century additions include a gabled porch at the front, and single-storey extensions to the west, rear, and north sides. The interior retains rudimentary framing of three bays.
