Description

A pair of iron gates and piers, located 10 metres north east of Mitre House at Brentwood School, date from the early 19th century. They are made of cast and wrought iron. Each pier is a hollow square shape with decorative scrolls between the uprights and topped with a cast finial. The double vehicle gates face northwest and feature a dipped top rail, also adorned with scrolls. These gates and piers are included in the listing for their group value.
