Description

Yewtree Cottage is a house dating from the early 17th century. It has a timber-framed structure with walls that are covered in 20th-century imitation framing and plaster infilling, topped by a peg tiled roof. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic and features a four-window range of 20th-century sash windows. The entrance door is off centre, and there is a diagonally set cruciform chimney stack. The layout consists of three cells with a lobby entrance. Behind the chimney stack, there is a modern stair in a tower, which is likely original. To the northwest, there is a 20th-century extension that also has imitation framing over rendering.
