691/9/10014 Stable/Tannery Building at Isinglass Factory (that part adjoining 114-116 West Street) II
Part stable with hayloft over. part probable tannery building, later house. Shown on Tithe map of 1853 but could date from late C18 and therefore part of the original tannery buildings on this site. Eastem part timber framed. clad in weatherboarding with brick ground floor to the rear and old tiled roof. North side has three stable doors in the north elevation and two loading doors at first floor level. Interior of three cells with weathcrboarded partitions. Western part of similar construction but part of the weatherboarding has been covered over to the south side, which also has windows on the ground floor and the first floor has four 16-pane sashes.
