Description

Whitecote is an 18th-century house that features a timber frame with plaster and a grey slate roof. It has two red brick chimney stacks and stands two storeys tall. The first floor has a six-window range of small-paned horizontal sliding sashes, while the ground floor has a two-window range. There is a central grey slate bay with French doors, and to the right, there is a plank and muntin door with an open pediment supported by brackets. French doors are located at the far left. Inside, all original doors are preserved, along with most of the ironmongery and many other finishings.
