Description
Redhouse Farm Barn is an early 17th-century barn located approximately 70 metres east of Redhouse Farmhouse, on the opposite side of the road. The barn is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated iron roof. It features a gabled midstrey to the west, which has double vertically boarded doors. The structure consists of six bays and includes jowled storey posts, arched braces to the tie beams, and serpentine braces to the walls. The roof has arched braces to the side purlins, with intermittent collars, and halved and bladed scarfs to the top plates.
