Description

New Barn is an 18th-century barn located approximately 40 metres north of the house in Great Maplestead. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, topped with a red pantile roof. The barn features a central gabled midstrey with double doors and a weathervane, and it is composed of three bays. The barn is also noted for its landscape value.
