Description

Pond Farmhouse is a mid-16th century timber-framed and plastered house located on Oak Road, Rivenhall. Originally, it had cross wings at both the north and south ends, though the south cross wing has since been demolished. The east end of the north cross wing is jettied on the upper storey, supported by curved brackets. A small, weatherboarded wing is situated at the rear. The north cross wing is two storeys in height, while the main block comprises a single storey with attics. Windows are casements. The roof is tiled, with one gabled dormer window on the main block.
