Description

The Locomotive Public House is a building that dates from the mid 17th century and late 18th century. It was originally two separate buildings. The structure features a combination of brick and timber framing with plaster. The 17th-century section has a roof covered in red plain tiles, while the later part is topped with grey slate. The building has a five-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor, and three similar windows on the ground floor.
