The rear wallplate has an edge-halved and bridled scarf, 2 blocked unglazed windows, one with a diamond mortice and one with a groove for sliding shutter. Heavy studding with primary straight bracing. C20 grates. Clasped purlin roof, the rafters having oblique trenches and gauging holes from a former use with a crownpost roof. The left extension is C19 and C20, reported to be on the site of a former smithy. The right bay, altnough now roofed in line with the others, retains some early structure in the right wall, and some evidence of a jetty at the front, indicating that it has been rebuilt from a former 2-bay crosswing.
