Description
Trinity Hall is a house located on Queen Street in Castle Hedingham, dating from the early 18th century or possibly earlier, with later alterations. The building features a timber frame with panel pargetting and a red plain tiled roof. It has three flat head dormers with moulded cornices and a moulded eaves cornice supported by double brackets. There are left off-centre and right external red brick chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high with attics and has a five-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, consisting of one or two lights. The off-centre right six-panel door is accessed by three steps and is framed by a surround with moulded capitals and bases to half columns, fluted supports, and a moulded soffit leading to an open pediment with a semi-circular recess in the frieze. The interior is said to contain the original staircase, panelling, exposed ceiling beams, Dutch tiles in the original fireplace, and several old doors.
