Description
The wall encloses the garden of Number 15, The Vicarage, and dates to the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and includes pilaster supports. The wall runs from the northwest corner, which is the right front of the wall associated with the house (listed separately), around the rear of the garden and to the front left corner of that same wall. It stands between 2 and 3 metres high. A red brick and red tiled outbuilding is incorporated into the front left section, and a spur wall extends from the rear left corner of the house. Group value: the wall contributes to the significance of the group of buildings in Castle Hedingham.
