House. C17, extended in C20. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with handmade red plain tiles. 4 bays aligned NW-SE with internal stack near N corner. C20 flat-roofed 2-storey extension to NE of stack. A single-storey lean-to extension of red brick, roofed with red clay pantiles, links this extension with Scrip's House, which is not included in this item. One storey with attics. One round window in SW elevation, with lead surround, probably inserted in C20. All other windows are C20 casements. C20 door in SE elevation, within yard at rear of Scrip's House. Chamfered binding beams with lamb's tongue stops, plain joists of vertical section jointed to them with soffit tenons with diminished haunches. The middle and SE internal tiebeams have been removed in the C18, replaced by knees forelocked down to the binding beams. No tiebeam originally between the 2 NW bays. Hardwood floorboards.
