Description
This stable block, located approximately 10 metres south-east of Colemans Farmhouse, dates from the early 18th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, with a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The building has three bays facing north and stands two storeys high. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century casement windows, while the first floor features two horizontally sliding sash windows, each with 12 lights. The stable block includes two halved stable doors and one door from the 19th century that has been introduced. The frame is jointed and pegged, with primary straight bracing and plain joists of vertical section. The original roof structure was half-hipped but has since been altered to a gabled design.
