Description
Weston Hall is a house dating from around 1500, featuring a three-bay hall with later alterations and additions. The structure is timber framed and rough rendered, topped with a red tiled roof that has projecting eaves. It includes a central chimney with a panelled base and four octagonal shafts that have moulded bases and capping. The building stands two storeys tall and has a three-window range of three-light casements with transoms. The central entrance consists of a two-panelled door that is half glazed with margins, flanked by fluted pilasters, and topped with a flat canopy supported by brackets. Inside, there are stop-chamfered bridging joists throughout, an Adam style fireplace, and 18th-century stairs along with several other notable 18th-century details. The hall is situated on a moated site.
