Description

The garden house or folly, located 60 metres south of Belchamp Hall, dates from the late 18th century. It is a square tower-like structure made of rubble and large blocks of reused stone. The north front features a pointed arched door, a string band, and remnants of a two-light opening, which is now much decayed. Inside, there is a small octagonal panelled room with a domed plaster ceiling.
