Description

This barn, located approximately 10 meters south-west of Duck Lane Farmhouse, dates from the late 16th century and incorporates reused timbers from the 15th century. It features a timber frame and is weatherboarded, with a tarred brick plinth and a corrugated iron roof. The barn is an aisled structure with four bays and has a double entrance facing north-west. The arcade posts have deep hollow chamfers. It is noted that the timbers used in the barn are believed to have come from the demolished chapel of Redderia in Guilden Morden.
