Description

This is an early 15th-century granary, substantially re-erected around 1980. Originally located at Tadlow, Cambridgeshire, it was moved to its present site around 1976 and re-erected approximately 1980. The granary is timber-framed and stands on red brick piers, which replaced the original staddle stones. It has a tiled roof with gablets. It's a single-storey structure with an original gabled porch on a side wall. The walls feature a framing pattern of closely-set, chamfered studs, incorporating some original vertical boards as infill. The gabled porch has arch bracing to the outer lintel, forming a two-centre arch.
