Description

Dixon's Bakery is a house and shop dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. The building is timber-framed and plastered, featuring a painted brick facade facing the street. It has a hipped roof covered with plain tiles and stands two storeys high, with a rear wing that has been extended for use as a bakehouse.

On the ground floor, there is a large 20th-century shop window on the left side and a recessed entrance that includes a half-glazed shop door from the 19th century. To the right, a shop window and cartway share a common entablature. The first floor has two recessed four-paned hung sash windows.
