Description
Westgate Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick with some burnt brick headers, and features a timber frame in the upper gable end walls. The roof is tiled and half hipped, with a ridge stack running along the ridge. The house has a lobby entry and a three-bay layout, standing two storeys tall with an attic.
On the first floor, there are three casement windows with open boxing, and the ground floor has three similar windows set under segmental arches. The entrance features a six-panel raised and fielded door, which is located in a doorway with a segmental arch and a flat hood supported by shaded brackets. At the rear, there is a mid-20th century kitchen wing.
