Description

This is a house dating from circa 1830, situated on the east side of High Street in Swavesey. The house is constructed of gault brick with a low-pitched slate roof and end chimney stacks. It is two storeys high. A dentil brick cornice runs along the eaves. The central entrance features a four-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above, sheltered by a flat canopy supported on shaped brackets. The ground floor has two recessed sixteen-pane hung sash windows, and the first floor has three further similar windows, all with flat brick arches. The building is listed for its group value.
