Description

The garden and boundary wall to The Manor House is a Grade II listed structure dating from the late 17th century, with the year 1681 scratched into the brickwork. It is possibly constructed by Sir Christopher Hatton and has undergone repairs since its original build. The wall encloses a formal rear garden on three sides and continues northward along the east boundary, flanking the front garden. It is made of red brick and features a dentil cornice along with brick coping of two different heights.
