Description

Hartford House is a house that was formerly a rectory, built around 1700 and later extended on the west side in the 19th century. It has a timber-framed structure that is plaster rendered, topped with a hipped tiled roof and wooden eaves. The house features two gault brick chimney stacks with entablatures and string courses, which were likely rebuilt in the 19th century. The building has an H-shaped plan and consists of two storeys and an attic, with three dormers. The front has a three-window range of twelve-pane hung sashes. There is a central doorway that is accompanied by a modern porch. The interior was refitted in the 19th century.
