It features a timber frame, is plaster rendered, and has a long straw thatch roof with two levels. The original red brick ridge stack is present. The building has a two bay and lobby entry plan, with the additional bay. There are three dormers and small pane horizontal sliding sashes, along with three shuttered small pane casements on the ground floor. The lobby entry has a boarded door. There is a small addition to the east end that was originally used for the Post Office, as well as modern additions to the west end and rear.
