Description

The Slaughterhouse is a former slaughterhouse built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from knapped flint with white wire-cut bricks used at the corners and around the window and door openings. The building features a thatched roof made of long straw, with a mid-19th century white brick chimney at one end. The layout consists of a single room, with the gable end facing the road to allow for cartway entry. Above the entry, there is a louvred window, and each side wall includes a window that is fitted with an iron grille.
