Description

Deep Thatch is a cottage that was originally three separate dwellings, dating from the 18th century. It features dressed clunch on a flint and pebble plinth, with some timber framing and clay lump in the upper courses and gable ends. The building has a gabled roof made of long straw and is one storey high with attics, including four dormers. The four casements and a doorway have flat arches made of dressed clunch, and two of the windows have replaced former doorways.
